The Organocatalysis Research Group is an organic chemistry-focused research group from Hungary that is part of the Hungarian Research Network's Research Centre for Natural Sciences. Since its funding in 2001 by Tibor Soós, the group has been involved in the development of advanced organochemical synthetic methodologies, exemplified in organocatalysis, frustrated Lewis pair chemistry, and strained heterocycle chemistry. Furthermore, these developments were also applied by our researchers in the total synthesis of various natural products and APIs.
